Smooth it up! Blender+ fruits and veggies


Today I wanted to talk about smoothies! It`s one of my morning routines that I enjoy!!

Again, there are a lot of advantages:
Smoothies can substitute the whole food intake :))
Can be used to recover from the fitness training.
It improves digestion by containing so needed fiber.
Can be a fast treat to make for your guests!
Kids love them for it`s texture and your boyfriend will definitely love it too, if you make one for him!
There are tons and tons of recipes and you can easily make your own, mixed from the favorite fruits and veggies!!!
Gives you a lot to experiment with!
In a hot summer day you can add ice cubes or cool green tea and fresh up your recipe!
Fruit smoothies go well with refreshing mint, and veggie smoothies can be spiced up with parsley or dill.
Berry smoothy tastes great if you mix up sweet and bitter berries.
Any type of green leafs you can mix up with root veggies like beat, radish, turnip, carrots and tomatoes.
For better juicy compatibility remember that good principal mix will be between: apples and carrots, root veggies and celery, apples and tomatoes, pineapple and celery, and also melon, cucumbers, pumpkin with apples.
Adding yogurt will make it creamy and honey will sweeten it.
You can start up with neutral ingredients like apple+banana+orange and then substitute and add on!
SKY IS THE LIMIT!
Try to organize your smoothy intake in the first half of the day as it has a good percentage of glucose in it for you to burn :))
Although we should remember that eating ONLY smoothies will result in losing vital microelements containing in other foods, it will still be a great treat for yourself and your loved ones!!!

Healthy Habits


Good day! I`d like to share my thoughts about developing healthy habits!
As I like working on myself and challenging, I read a lot on this topic to learn other people`s examples and see how it works. In today`s fast world, we can get so many different techniques, diets, solutions and advises, that we definitely have to judge everything we read or listen to :)

Even life itself changed a lot and now medicine even looking at the same products under different angles. Like my mom says now, than 10-15 years ago some products were considered “not so good” for your health, but now everyone talks about it`s “goodness”.
How not to be lost in these cases?
My way, is to listen to yourself and how your body responds to certain products. When I started exercise I felt like my body needed more water, as it was losing it, then I started drinking water a lot during the day and so it became my habit, later on I was reading about benefits of it.

When I moved away from home I started working more and cooking less, eat more fresh greens and less meat, and I felt myself so much lighter inside and I really enjoyed this feeling. Later on I found justifications to this in prints.
I am not a vegetarian, although my colleagues at work always asked me about it, as my menu was pretty simple, raw and veggie. I think I am not ready yet to eliminate some products as I believe they are necessary for balanced diet, for now I just increased the percentage of veggies on my daily plate.

Step by step I have been making my choices unconsciously, but now I see that they all match with healthy lifestyle and giving me tonus for life!
To strengthen a healthy habit you have to repeat it from 21 (min) to 40 (max) days in a row, and no skipping! Then your body and mind will get used to a new way!
Of course it may be hard for a first time, but with support of a friend or strong self-motivations, you can make it work for you! Here is where your power of will comes in picture!

Some people may be forgetting in a busy daily life that they have to do/not to do certain things, then you can write a reminder on a sticky paper and it will be on your sight.
I am sure that very soon it will become very natural, like breathing and sleeping :)

TONUS concepts

Here I would like to share my practicies I have developed for myself :) It works :)

- Start a day with a glass of water, better two :)
- Excercise daily! (fitness, running, jogging, yoga, pilates, bodyflex, you name it!)
- Fruit or veggie smoothy a day- will boost your energy and clean your body!
- Make healthy choises evey day: Vegetables should dominate the plate! And it`s all in your brain!
 I don`t call it a diet, i call it Lifestyle!
- Motivate yourself and others!
- Read a book, listen to the music to find the inner balance!
- Stay tuned and love life!
